Saige visiting family...

Saige grins mischievously and crosses her arms.

"Think of it as my ultimate prank! All those years everyone took care of me, now I'm the strongest and I get to take care of you! Ha!"

She laughs and goes to the door, turning to Basil one more time before opening it, a questioning look on her face.

"So you're not still mad at me about the whole vampire thing, right?"

Basil turns to Saige as she heads for the door and sighs. "I don't like it but I'm not mad at you. I know you didn't do it on purpose. How could I stay mad at my littlest sister for something she didn't do?" He smiles and then holds up a finger and then puts it back down. "Now if you find a way to fix it... Are you going to?"

"I... don't know." Saige looks down and takes a deep breath. "It was a wish I made to Hilok. I don't know if it can be reversed, but if it could... I would. I don't want to keep living forever without you or Storm or our family. All I've ever wanted is friends, but if everyone dies and I just keep going?"

She shakes her head and looks to Basil, a conflicted expression on her face.

"I can help people with this power. I've been able to do amazing things, save my friends, be a hero. But none of that is worth it if I can't keep the people I love. So maybe one day, we'll find a way to fix it. But until then, I'm going to save as many people as I can."

Basil takes a moment to consider and then nods his head. "You're using it to do good things. How can I argue with that?" He chuckles and walks up to her then places a hand on her shoulder. "With or without this power, you're still Saige. I support you."

"Thanks, Basil." Saige smiles and gives him another hug, waiting a few moments before pulling back. "Now. I have to go work on things, so Storm and I are heading out. Remember what I said about Cassia."

She opens the door, heading back towards the family room.

Basil returns her hug. "I'll keep a close eye on him and try to keep him social. As much as possible."

He returns to the living area along with Saige.

Storm is sitting on the couch with Sylissa and they are chatting quietly despite the chaos around them. Rosemary is standing in front of the couch practicing some of her lines. The twins are giggling quietly behind the couch. Fennel is busily cleaning up a puddle of some sort in the corner and he curses under his breath. Cassia is sitting on the floor in front of the couch, looking up at Storm and Sylissa. Ruvean is in one of the chairs with Lavendar in his lap, soothingly rubbing her back as she wails about something.

Basil walks passed Saige to scoop up the twins just as they each start to stand up holding a vial in each hand ready to pour over Storm and Sylissa. "Ohhhh no! We are not ruining pretty ladies hair today. No."

So instead they pour the vials over Basil's head. In an instant, his hair turns bright green and the liquid stains his clothes as well. Basil sighs heavily and sets the twins back down. He turns to Saige.

"See? I've got this." He laughs.
