Practice makes perfect

Zuigrii stumbles up to the outside of the armorsmith guild. He focuses for a moment while his natural resistance overrides the alcohol he had gotten from peyote.

He enters the workshop and heads directly for the closest trough of clean water waving to Guildmistress Lyra as he starts soaking his fur on his arms and face with the water.

The heavy set elf with long blond hair tied back in a braid looks up and smiles, noticing him stumbling up to the ward, and waves as he enters. "Fun evening?"

Zuigrii plunges both arms in the water. “Just trying to be friendly with people who can be nice to have around. Don’t want to ignore hospitality when I don’t know many people yet.”

Lyra nods and returns her eyes to the books in front of her. "Yes. It's good to make friends with who you can when you can. Never know when you might need help carrying the anvil." She continues writing in the books as she speaks. "So who've you met so far? I don't get out much so I barely know the other guildmasters... well, guildmaster now. Wonder who's going to take over the light guild." She flips a few pages in one of the books and makes a note, then flips back to resume where she left off.

Zuigrii pulls out his arms as the fur drips on the floor. “Well I’ve met a Miquella of the light guild, Lady Jade of the barony of Seshtau, and a few other adventurers that were with them. I’ve also met a very interesting merchant named Peyote and a fellow smith that seems to have mastered the art of weapon making named Hutch. Most interesting though was I have had the opportunity to meet Knightmaster Selena.”

"I've met the knightmaster a few times during kingdom meetings, haven't shared more than a handful of words directly though. Another smith however, is far more interesting to me than the knightmaster. Do you know if he's wanting to join us?"
