In Search of Ancient Histories

One warm afternoon, Vesta makes her way to the Seshtau embassy, intent on meeting with Jade to discuss the heroes’ journey to an ancient library, undertaken before her arrival in Volaire.

She steps through the portal from Umbris, the air shifting behind her as it closes. Her skirts rustle against the polished floor as she glides towards the waiting area, claiming a seat with quiet grace. With a practiced flick, she unfurls her fan, the soft fluttering easing the clinging heat as she settles in to wait.

Two haltijans emerge from the back rooms. A woman with reddish brown hair and a male with black hair. They both greet Vesta as they enter.

The woman speaks first.

"Good afternoon Vesta. You ready to check over Roman's hard work?"

A Haltija with short, neatly kept black hair walks beside the Baroness with a stack of papers in his arms. 

He smiles at Vesta. "Hello, Miss Vesta. It's a pleasure to see you again."

Vesta rises from her seat and dips into a curtsy, greeting them both with a warm smile. 

“I’m more than ready.” She says, her voice carrying an edge of anticipation. “I doubt we’ll find anything regarding the amphitheater, but it doesn’t hurt to check.”

Jade nods.

"If we don't find it in these then it would probably be deeper in the ancient library."

Jade nods to Roman to go ahead.

*Blodwulf walks into the tavern, his head freshly shaved on the sides and a neat braided ponytail and a freshly trimmed beard, he walks to his normal place at the bar* " one ale please"
